Thermal Analysis of a Hybrid Air Conditioning System with Geothermal Energy

Hybrid air conditioning systems can allow significant energy saving and emissions reductions with respect to conventional air-conditioning systems. Thermal analysis of a desiccant wheel, heat exchanger, ground source circulation system, solar collector for hybrid system is performed in this study. The effects these parameters have been studied: Inlet temperature, humidity ratio, wheel speed, regeneration mass flowrate, exchanger effectiveness, radiation on the behavior outlet temperature ratio from area collector, efficiency, cooling coil load, coefficient performance. more efficient than vapor compression system. significantly decreases load approximately 48 % lower
